A Treat: June Luxe Box by Loose Button

Last month I decided to treat myself by buying a Luxe Box. Well, it showed up last week!

Luxe Box is a Canadian sample program similar to Birchbox, and it’s run by Loose Button. For ~$11, each month you get a small cute box with 3-4 product samples from beauty companies.

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant (no additional picture): I’ve only tried this one but so far I really like it. It’s very gentle for someone who has sensitive/dry skin.

Laura Mercier eyeshadow in Sandstone – this one was upgraded to full product size, which is nice. It’s a good natural-ish colour that adds a bit of shimmer for an everyday look.

China Glaze 9.5 ml in Agent Lavender – This is a gorgeous lavender colour which is nothing like the polishes I already own. Unfortunately I tried to use it twice and it goes on streaky and will not dry! Very disappointed, China Glaze.

Overall I was happy with my Luxebox, although I wish there had been 4 samples, wish the polish were better, and my free 72% chocolate was broken. I won’t be subscribing on a regular basis due to financial costs, but maybe I’ll get another box in a few months as a treat.
